Anxiety Therapy in Vaughan & Online Across Ontario
Is Your Mind Always Racing, Worrying, or Waiting for Something to Go Wrong?
You are not imagining it. And you are not alone. Anxiety therapy at Soul Prism Therapy in Vaughan, Ontario can help you finally feel like yourself again
Does your brain just never switch off?
You lie down to sleep and the thoughts start. Did you say the wrong thing today? Did you forget something important? What if something goes wrong tomorrow? You replay conversations, rehearse situations that have not happened yet, and scan for problems before they arrive. During the day you feel it too. A low hum of tension that never quite leaves. You might snap at people you love, struggle to concentrate, or feel physically exhausted even when you have not done much. The worry is not just in your head. It shows up in your body too. Tight chest, shallow breathing, a stomach that never fully settles. You have tried telling yourself to calm down, to think positive, to just let it go. And it works for a moment. Then the cycle starts again.
Do you avoid things because the anxiety feels too big?
Maybe you have started saying no to things you actually want to do. Social events, new opportunities, difficult conversations. The anxiety makes them feel impossible before they even begin. You might cancel plans at the last minute, put off decisions until they become urgent, or find yourself overthinking every possible outcome before you take a single step. Over time, the world can start to feel smaller. The things you avoid pile up and become their own source of stress. You know, somewhere, that the avoidance is not helping. But in the moment, it feels like the only way to get relief. This is one of the most common patterns we see in anxiety and it is one of the first things we work on together in therapy.
Are you exhausted from holding it all together?
From the outside, you might look like you have everything under control. You are responsible, reliable, always prepared. But inside, you are running on adrenaline and worry. You feel pressure to perform, to get it right, to not let anyone down. And the weight of that is exhausting. Anxiety often shows up in high-achieving, caring, conscientious people who hold themselves to an impossible standard. You might not even recognise it as anxiety. You might just think you are a worrier, or that this is just who you are. It is not. The way you feel is not a personality trait. It is something that can shift with the right support, at the right pace, in a space that actually feels safe.
We know it is not always easy to take the first step. There are so many questions about what therapy actually looks like, whether it will help, and whether you are struggling enough to deserve support. You are. Whatever you are carrying right now, you do not have to carry it alone.
You do not have to live like this.
At Soul Prism Therapy, we offer anxiety therapy to help you understand what is driving your worry, quiet the noise in your mind, and build a life that feels calmer and more like your own. Our CRPO-registered therapists work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, in person in Vaughan and virtually across Ontario.
How anxiety therapy works at Soul Prism
We start by getting to know you. Not just your anxiety, but your life, your history, and what has brought you here. There is no agenda to rush through and no pressure to have everything figured out before your first session. You just need to show up.
From there, we work together to understand what is underneath the anxiety. Sometimes it is rooted in past experiences. Sometimes it is tied to how you learned to cope as a child. Sometimes it is connected to the pressure of managing too much with too little support. Whatever the root, we explore it gently and at a pace that feels right for you.
Then we build practical tools. Ways to interrupt the worry cycle, regulate your nervous system, and respond to difficult situations without feeling overwhelmed. Over time, most clients find that the anxiety becomes quieter, more manageable, and less in control of their daily life.
Why work with us?
We understand anxiety from the inside out.
All three of our therapists, Kritika, Corrado, and Vaaraki, work with anxiety regularly. We know how it shows up differently in different people, and we know that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work. We take the time to understand your specific experience before we suggest any tools or approaches.
We offer therapy in your language.
We provide sessions in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, and French. For many clients, being able to speak in the language they grew up with makes the work feel more natural and more effective. Especially when talking about fear, worry, or family pressure.
We use evidence-based approaches that actually work.
Our therapists draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, trauma-informed care, and somatic approaches depending on what fits best for you. These are well-researched methods with strong evidence for reducing anxiety over time. We explain everything we use in plain language and always make sure you feel comfortable with the approach.
We are a collective, not a clinic.
Soul Prism Therapy was built on the belief that therapy works best when the relationship feels real. Our team is small and intentional, and we genuinely care about the people we work with. You will not feel like a file number here.
Frequently Asked Questions

Stress and anxiety can feel very similar, and they often overlap. The main difference is that stress tends to be tied to a specific situation. A deadline, a conflict, a big change. When the situation resolves, the stress usually eases. Anxiety tends to linger even when there is nothing specific to worry about. It can feel like a constant background hum, a sense of dread without a clear cause, or a pattern of worrying that jumps from one thing to the next. If you find that the worry is persistent, hard to control, and getting in the way of your daily life, therapy can help whether we call it stress or anxiety.

This is one of the most common concerns people have before starting therapy, and it is a fair one. Good therapy is not just venting. It is active, collaborative work. We help you understand the patterns driving your anxiety, develop practical tools to interrupt them, and build lasting change over time. Many clients notice a meaningful shift within a few sessions. The work takes time and commitment, but it is not just talking in circles. We are focused on helping you feel genuinely better.

No referral is needed. You can book directly with any of our therapists or start with a free 15-minute consultation to find the right fit. We work independently, which means you can get started without waiting for a doctor's appointment or a diagnosis. If you are already working with a doctor or psychiatrist, we are happy to collaborate with your existing care team.

Both options are available. We see clients in person at our Vaughan office at 237 Romina Drive, Concord, Ontario, and virtually via secure video to anyone in Ontario. Many clients find that online therapy works really well for anxiety. You can be in a comfortable, private space at home, which can make it easier to open up. The research shows that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person for anxiety. The choice is entirely yours and can change over time.
