Hi there! I am Corrado 👋
I’m a therapist, a history enthusiast, and a family man. My experiences have taught me that we are all unique and subjective beings. I prefer to take a slower approach to ensure we do not miss anything important. Only when we have all the pieces or parts laid out in front of us can we properly dive into your world and explore wherever you decide to go. I truly believe therapy is a journey and yes it can be a little sad and triggering at times, but it can also be fun and enlightening.

Whether you meet me online or in person at my Vaughan office, my goal is to help you feel safe, seen, and supported.

I prefer to use an eclectic approach which allows me to use the most suitable form of therapy for your individual needs. With that being said, I do approach most of my clients from the lenses of IFS, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and narrative therapy because they allow me more flexibility with your individual needs. In doing so, I will try my best to ensure your experiences are validated.

🌍 I love to travel.
I’ve had the privilege of visiting different countries and experiencing the richness of diverse cultures. I hope to continue exploring all that this world has to offer.
❤️ My family means everything to me.
I try to make as much time for them as I can — they are my greatest source of inspiration and grounding.
😂 Humour has a place in healing.
Whether you’re laughing with me or at me, I believe there is always room for more smiles and lightness in therapy.
🏛️ History, art, and mythology inspire me.
I’ve always been fascinated by how people lived and expressed themselves in the past — and how they tried to make sense of the world around them.
⚽ Sports fill up most of my Instagram.
I’ve played and enjoy watching almost every sport — especially soccer (a proud AC Milan fan), tennis (Roger Federer is the GOAT), and football (Pittsburgh Steelers fan).
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 5 years of experience working mainly with individuals and couples. My passion for helping others has recently grown into me taking the next step in my career by becoming a clinical supervisor and Yorkville-Approved Practicum Supervisor.
Although I am very much an eclectic therapist who will use whichever models and techniques will be most helpful for each individual, couple, or family, my main approaches are: IFS, CBT, and narrative therapy. My aim is to leave you with tools that will allow you to overcome any and all future obstacles that may come your way.
My Journey
My story starts a long time ago when I was young and watching Indiana Jones with my family. I remember thinking how cool and amazing it would be to become an archaeologist; to travel the world and uncover lost treasures while defeating mythical monsters. As I grew older, this fascination led me to study ancient history, mythology, and culture. I was particularly interested in ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. I eventually went to university where I studied these cultures in more depth and my passion for these civilizations continued to grow. At some point I realized the romanticizing of archaeology in Hollywood; it was not as glamorous or adventurous as movies make it out to be. Nevertheless, I completed my degree and gained a plethora of useful tools, including a hunger for discovery and compassion for various cultures and beliefs.
Once I completed my degree, and with no prospects in the field of archaeology, I asked myself where else I could apply these newly-polished skills and passions. I finally decided to try psychology; rather than searching for lost treasure I could now search for an individual's inner beliefs, values, customs, and sense of identity. In other words, I can use those skills to really know and understand my clients which helps to build rapport and trust within the therapeutic space thereby leading to the enactment of positive change.
Now 5 years in, and that same passion and hunger to learn more is even stronger. As a result, I have studied, learned about, and incorporated various additional modalities and techniques into my toolkit. I hope to learn even more in the years ahead. As of now, for anyone who knows me, I have a very strong passion for IFS. I know it sounds weird to many people, but it works and is incredibly fascinating due to its subjectivity since every individual experience is so unique.
I also want to thank the various individuals, co-workers, and supervisors who have helped me in my journey. They have inspired me to help others along their journeys as therapists which is why I became a clinical supervisor. My journey thus far is based on my passion for discovery and to help anyone I can in their own journeys.
Languages I Speak
English
My name is, somewhat obviously, Italian and I hold true to several cultural ideals and beliefs. Basically, my hands will be moving and very much present in a therapy or supervisory session. Although I am of a certain background and religious belief, I have worked with individuals from various cultural and religious backgrounds, and our differences have never been an issue. In fact, those differences have allowed me to engage my curious part by truly attempting to understand those different experiences.

What Sets Me Apart
My humour, my wit, and my personality are definitely unique to me, and they will be on full display in every therapy, supervisory, or casual encounter with me. I think what sets me apart is my authenticity, which usually invites others to be their authentic selves around me and I openly welcome it.
