A Few Things About Me
Before beginning my journey in mental health, I worked in the beauty industry and loved the creativity it allowed me to express.
I'm happiest when I'm doing something creative. I love singing, dancing, painting, cooking, and baking—anything that lets me express myself. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and finding new ways to recharge.
My all-time favourite shows are The Vampire Diaries, The Office, and Modern Family.
Beach or mountains? 🌊⛰️ Beach for sure! There's something about hearing the waves and feeling my feet on the warm sand that grounds me.
I am a night owl.
Why did you decide to become a therapist?
I decided to become a therapist because I know what it feels like to struggle, to question where you belong, and to search for someone who truly understands. Growing up, I often felt different and found myself trying to understand not only my own emotions, but also the emotions of those around me. That curiosity, combined with a deep sense of empathy, inspired me to pursue this path. My goal is to create the kind of space I once needed—one where people feel accepted, understood, and never alone. I believe healing isn't about being "fixed," but about learning to understand ourselves with compassion and recognizing that growth is a lifelong journey.
What do you hope clients feel when they leave a session with you?
I hope they leave feeling heard, understood, and a little lighter than when they came in. Even if we don't have all the answers, I want them to leave knowing they don't have to face things alone and feeling hopeful about the next step.
