  • How do I start therapy with you?

    You can reach out via email or phone. I’ll respond personally, usually within a day or two, to schedule our first meet and greet call. Meet and greet call is a free no commitment video call for me to understand what you are looking for and for you to get a sense of working with me. There’s no pressure — just a chance to see if we’re a good fit.

  • What happens in the first session?

    The first session is about getting to know each other. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. I’ll ask about what’s been difficult for you, get to know your strengths, understand what you hope to work on, and explain my approach. Many clients leave feeling relieved, heard, and a little more hopeful.

  • How long is each session?

    Sessions are typically for 50 minutes but may last for 60 minutes.

  • How do I know if therapy is right for me?

    If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like something in your life isn’t working for you, therapy can help. You don’t need to have it all figured out — just the willingness to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a safe space.

  • What if I’m nervous or unsure?

    Feeling nervous is completely normal! Many clients feel anxious before starting therapy. My role is to make the space safe, non-judgmental, and supportive. You can take things at your own pace.

  • Do you offer virtual sessions?

    Yes! I offer both in-person sessions in Woodbridge and secure virtual sessions for clients across Ontario.

  • How often should I come to therapy?

    Most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Once we establish a rhythm, we can discuss adjusting the frequency based on your needs. Frequency of sessions will also depend on insurance coverage, your availability and many other factors.

  • How long will therapy take?

    There’s no set timeline — therapy is unique to each person. Some clients feel noticeable changes in a few sessions, while others work together longer for deeper transformation.

  • How do I cancel or reschedule a session?

    I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Life happens — we can always find another time that works.
